We're taking another shot at seeing if we should change the playoff roster rules. GMs are largely interested in changing the playoff roster rules with allowing players who weren't specifically on the team on August 31 as the main want. I'm still hesitant to allow any member of the 40 man if possible, but this might be a good compromise. Or GMs can vote to keep things as they are! Vote and decide!

I’m voting a strong yes. I am not entirely in agreement with 40 but I don’t think anyone will or really can abuse it?
Plus I hope it makes ericks job easier perhaps rather than him having to manually adjust rosters?

The August 31 setting is an OOTP thing and there isn't much way to easily change it to something better. Adding players manually to the playoff roster is pretty easy though. I just go to the player, go in the editor, and toggle on playoff eligibility. |

We really need to change our playoff roster rule in my opinion. I'll have pitchers with more innings pitched than the guys on my roster on Sept 1st who aren't eligible. Combined with the fact that guys can get injured after Sept 1st you will end up not being able to use players who made meaningful contributions to your team. I'm not exactly sure what the compromise should be, but what we have right now isn't working.
