The Rangers are overjoyed with the fact that they were able to acquire one of the leagues best 3B and former ranger killer Kyle Seager in a blockbuster trade with division rival Seattle. Kyle was a beast last year and ended up finishing the year with a 5.4 WAR.  All though the Texas had to part with young stud profar Rangers GM Clayton Piper doesn't seem to care to much, "We love Profar, but we made a huge upgrade at third and Segura is a proven SS that we are comfortable with being are SS and leading are infield. " Bench coach Eric Wedge had this to say "cant wait to see these guys in action and hopefully help us make a deep playoff run."

    Kyle and Jean's presser was today and they were both sporting huge grins. Kyle said " I enjoyed my time in Seattle, however cant wait to get out on the field here  in Texas. Love this lineup and cant wait to see what it can do with me and Jean in it. I've also always kicked ass when hitting at Globe Life Park so hopefully that transfers over". Jean had this to say "glad i can share the left side of the infield with my good friend Kyle for another season and cant wait to see what this team can do." 


All in all both seem estatic about joining the Rangers and cant wait to see what the team can do on the diamond next year.

That is quite a haul, Seager is a terrific third baseman.
