The Rangers agreed to send Jake Diekman to the Rays for Jose Disla CL and Luke Heimlich SP who were both prospects in Tampa's system. The Rangers will miss Diekman but they had a surplus of lefty relievers, therefore making him expendable. Sam Dyson said "Will really miss Jake he was my homie, but that's the way baseball goes we come and we go don't have really much control over it."
