We have a rule for trades where signed free agents can't be traded until June 15th. I don't care that much for that limitation, but I think it's meant to prevent signing players simply as trade fodder, and to protect players who expect to sign with a team only to be sent to another team. It will take 16 votes to change this, but I'm willing to listen.
