Overall, I think this is a deal that works for both sides. The Twins get four guys who could be core players for the next half-dozen years or so. German is so much fun to watch and still young. The lone tick against him is his stamina, but he's even better than another short-stamina Phillie named Aaron Nola who worked out very well (even for the White Sox afterward), and he works with my new pitching philosophy. Tonche is a tough guy to draw comps to, but he plays solid infield with some elite skills and near-elite outfield. Jeren Kendall and Jahmai Jones might be the ceiling here, which would be a real score. Brommer and Arellano have a solid future, I think, but as flyball pitchers, they don't really fit with my park.
