Rockies agree. The timing makes the deal possible. Leonard will team with Guttman in the short term as my starting Shortstop duo. We lose a lot of offensive juice with Ademan being traded, but defense was a huge issue for us and we should have Shortstop shorn up. Once Michael Perez heals, I'll see how we want to handle things.

I've always admired what Burton brought to Kansas City, and he'll be a huge upgrade on Erik Nigro, giving us a guy who can play Center Field when Dahl needs a rest, while being an asset in the corners. He'll play every day against lefties and against some righties too.

Ademan got a bad deal statistically cause of how bad our staff was and how hard it is to field in Coors, but he was a solid player and we hope he thrives in KC in a smaller role.
