Reds send AAA 3B Isaac Paredes
Mariners send 2028 6th round pick
Thanks for the deal Dean. Paredes had a nice year in AAA last year and a good WCB showing. He deserves a shot to make the bigs again, but we were having a tough time elevating him for financial reasons. Wish him great luck with the Mariners.

Just realized this trade may not be legal per constitution rules:

Players signed in the off-season as Free Agents cannot be traded until June 15th of the season in which they were signed.

@erick is this indeed the case here? FYI I signed Paredes to a majors/minors contract.

Trade cannot be processed due to reason Mike alluded to. Free Agents, even minor league ones, have to wait until June 15 to be traded.
