Mention of the amateur draft being at the BEGINNNING of the season needs to be added here immediately for all new incoming players.

I also recommend potential rule changes to help make things easier for incoming GMs. Two big ones would be (1) don't allow players to be drafted in the rule 5 draft from organizations that are actively searching for a GM (2) have the commissioner step in, or the AI, or some setting to sign International Free Agents. We can't control the financial mess/poor farm system that incoming GMs inherit, but these are two things that we should be able to control. Controlling them will increase the likelihood that a new GM will stick around. There are probably other things I am not thinking of, but I feel like this is a good starting point.

There are probably other things I am not thinking of, but I feel like this is a good starting point. 1) We automatically protect all players on a team's Rule V above 3 stars according to OSA. 2) This was our first year with the new OOTP IFA rules. I don't think we'll be applying that because it becomes a judgment call on who to sign, how much money to spend, and in the end what we decide may not be worth it. It also may be the case where a new GM doesn't want resources spent on IFAs, but would want their money used on other ways to improve the team. |

I Personally think we should add an amnesty clause for new players (only). My initial idea is that the contract could be voided at 25% of the cost of the total, paid out either at its length or in full until the 25% is fully paid.
