Hey guys, this is the setup for the draft lottery. I've taken the time to plot out how many ping pong balls everyone will have. As a reminder, 14 teams enter the lottery and all spots are live.
1) Tigers - 250
2) Mariners - 199
3) Reds - 156
4) Phillies - 119
5) Brewers - 88
6) Royals - 38
6) Marlins - 38
6) Orioles - 38
9) Red Sox - 37 (Four-way tie for 6th. Total ping pong balls are added and divided evenly. Red Sox lose tie breaker for remainder three ping pong balls)
10) Padres - 11
11) Cardinals - 8
12) Diamondbacks - 6
12) Angels - 6
12) Blue Jays - 6 (Three-way tie for 12th)
Also, several teams will lock into the back of the first round for not signing their picks last year. Order will be based on the order of the unsigned pick.
