Just a bad deal all round. Santana refused to even talk extension right up until arbitration day and then accepts a qualifying offer completely out of the blue. Then I literally can't give him away whilst GMs are signing considerably worse players for more money from FA and other don't have enough ML players to fill their line ups. Finally have to take a ridiculously unrealistic deal to save a few million. Not sure if I want him to break his leg on the first day of the season, or finish with 40HRs and 110 RBIs at Coors.. anyway good riddance Santana, i'll never listen to Maria Maria again.
